Sugar was commisioned to develop a cinematic fiery AR brand activation to support Wrexham FC's US Tour in 2023 in partnership with Visit Wales. The activation was launched at the Wrexham V Manchester Utd fixture at the Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego and toured the US.

The experience, delivered using Niantic's 8th Wall web AR platform, was storyboarded, designed, created, and developed by Sugar Creative's in-house team of 3D artists, animators and developers over the course of just 4 weeks.

Powered by Web based AR we were able to offer a cutting edge and compelling immersive marketing experience without the need to download a dedicated app. This allowed all fans to easily access the content and maximised engagement at the events
