Step into the magical world of Wallace & Gromit and discover an adventure in the city around you like never before.

In the first ever city-scale Augmented Reality (AR) experience to use full geo location technology we have worked with multi award®-winning independent studio Aardman to create 'Wallace and Gromit: Fix Up The City’. Starring the famed British duo, the new app uses the power of AR and hyper-precise digital scanning to transform the cities Bristol and Cardiff, UK, and San Francisco, into an interactive virtual stage. Created as part of our collaboration arm Fictionners with Potato and TRG this project once again pushed the boundaries of what is possible for audiences of the future.

The game is an exciting self directed location based story that allows you to interact with Wallace’s famous rocket, watch Gromit take off in his iconic plane and even battle a colossal cleaning robot. It involves fun, engaging, interactive, large-scale experiences that play out before you and places you at he heart of the story as your actions drive it forward. With cutscenes and animation created with the incredible team at Oscar winning Aardman and featuring the awesome award-winning voice talents of British actor Miriam Margolyes as “BERYL”, Jim Carter OBE as “Bernard Grubb”, and Ben Whitehead as “Wallace” this world class experience makes your imagination come to life.

Available on iOS and Android smartphones in the UK, the ‘Fix Up the City’ app features living immersive experiences in Bristol and Cardiff in the Uk and Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco, US. The project, funded by UK Research & Innovation (UKRI), follows our successful launch of The Big Fix Up earlier this year, which was shortlisted for two Cannes Lions awards.

The next generation geo located AR was made possible by working alongside Unity Technologies and 3D mapping company Fantasmo. By coming and developing these tools the team have been able to scan key architecture in each city to embed hyper precise AR features and experiences, making for a more personalised, immersive and captivating experience for fans.
